Get Whale Wishes

Isn't this whale the cutest? With his goofy smile, he just brings a smile to my face! I made this card for a weekly challenge I have with some SCS friends. We take turns choosing a thread from the "Need a Lift" forum, add some kind of requirement, and then we each mail our cards to the intended recipient. This week Debi chose Michael, a man recently diagnosed with melanoma. We were to make a masculine card -- I figure this doesn't have any flowers or pink or girls on it! It does have glitter in the ric rac, but any fisherMAN knows that shimmer on the water means it's too hot and the fish aren't biting anymore! lol

My whale is watercolored with pads and an aqua brush and is raised on dimensionals, as is the sentiment.
