I Ain't "Lion" ----

The SCS Ways To Use It Challenge this week was "An Eye on Eyelets." We were supposed to come up with a different way to use eyelets. I have eyelets in every color imaginable, and more than I can use! But I did come up with this "out of the box" way to use them - and quite a few at once too!

I used this darling lion image that Stacy (twinshappy) sent me by CTMH. I watercolored the lion and his feet, and then cut him out. The lion face is raised on dimensionals. The sentiment is computer generated, and the little heart and key charm is tied with a twine bow and attached with a Glue Dot. The eyelets and twine are his cage. I made this for my very supportive and fun DH!

Stamps: CTMH
Paper: Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Slab DP
Ink: Basic Black, Ruby Red, Marigold Morning, Creamy Caramel
Accessories: twine, brown eyelets, word window punch, heart/key charm, sponge dauber, computer, aqua brush
Techniques: watercolor, sponging

It's Never Too Late

to write a love letter

It can be to your beloved, your child, a relative, a friend.
Tell them of your love --
your special love for them.
It will mean so much.
Show you care -- in your own handwriting.
An autograph of affection.
A personal gift in a cyber world.
A lasting memento.

Thanks for stopping by this morning! I am off to a GIANT craft show at our fairgrounds and will be back this afternoon with some KEY LIME MARGARITA PIE for you to enjoy with me!
