Well Wishes for the New Year

I hope you all have a wonderful time bringing in the New Year! My family and I will be going to a concert of one of our favorite bands, Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band in Omaha. My son is a jazz major and plays a lot of big band music. This concert tonight should be incredible! (And if you have seen "The Incredibles," the lead trumpet player for the band tonight did the trumpet music in that movie!

So I am wishing you well in 2009 with this cute wishing well from Hambo Stamps. These two cute images are some of the New Arrivals from Hambo just released! I used SCS Sketch 202 for my layout. Happy New Year to all my blog friends!!

  1. The concert sounds like a great time - I hope you all have a ton of fun!!

Beautiful card - I'm really liking this set, and love your coloring.

    Happy New Year!!
    hugs, Jami

  2. Your card is just beautiful Judy! And the concert sounds fabulous!! I love Omaha!! I flew through there quite a bit this past year and there's a fantastic restaurant right by the Quest center!! (it's always about food...*grin*)

  3. Cute card-like the sketch. Happy New Year!

  4. I love those guys! Both of my kids played some of their stuff in their high school jazz bands. Your cards are beautiful- I'm a new 'follower' :)

  5. I like how you used this sketch. What a cute sentiment for the image.

  6. The Wishing Well card is fantastic.

The Incredibles was on TV this evening. It must be nice to have a talented son and being able to enjoy his playing.

  7. That Wishing Well card is adorable!

How was the concert? Did you hear that the Big Phat Band's song "Chance Encounters" is going to be used in this Sunday's episode of "Brothers and Sisters" on ABC? It's good to see jazz music, especially quality jazz like the Big Phat Band, featured on a major tv show!

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment. It means a lot and I appreciate you!
