A St. Pat's Card - Think St. Valentine Will Mind?

It's all about sharing the day......

I have all my valentines done, so today I have a St. Patrick's Day card to share with you. I know many people do not make St. Pat's Day cards, or even celebrate it, but since I went to Ireland last May, I am kind of into the whole "green" thing and shamrocks (which were everywhere - especially at the 700+ ft. high Cliffs of Moher:). Today's card is from May God Hold You, a February release by Our Daily Bread designs. I stamped the sentiment in Black Stazon ink. The beautiful shimmery green paper is by DCWV (The Luxury MatStack) and the ribbon is by FX (Hobby Lobby). The shamrocks are stamped in Craft White ink (Stampin' Up!). There are two gold jumbo eyelets (Making Memories) on either side of the sentiment panel, which I threaded the ribbon through.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are having a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Stamps: May God Hold You (ODBD)
Paper: Certainly Celery, GP White, Always Artichoke, Luxury MatStack (DCWV)
Ink: Black Stazon, White Craft
Accessories: ribbon, gold jumbo eyelets, paper piercer, paper frills (Doodlebug), pearls and gems (Mark Richards)

  1. Oh Judy! I so envy you having been to Ireland. I would love to go there! I hear it is one of the most beautiful places on earth and so very green! What was it like?

Your card is perfect for St Patty's Day! Love that the sentiment is the focus!

  2. I like this one, for sure. I saw that verse and the other one on the ODB site - if I made cards to sell (as opposed to selling cards I've made) it would be a great set. I like your white shamrocks and that luscious looking ribbon. We had quite a bit of snow by Irish standards the week before last, it only just finished melting two days ago. And I think I said it before, but I envy you the clear day you got at the Cliffs of Moher. Any time we go it's been too misty to get a view like that. But then - we can try more often, so you deserved to see it on a rare trip :D

  14. Isn't Ireland one of the most beautiful countries. I had never seen so many colours of green before. That is one place that I would love to go back to and explore every area.

I love your card. It is hard to find good stamps for St. Patrick's day - this saying is perfect.
