My World Evolves

My world is crazy right now! I said I would share some news! And although I am slow (how typical!), here it is:

First up is this fun card using two of my new Hambo Stamps. I have always loved the artwork of Hambo's stamps, and these new ones are some of my favorites! Check out all their new releases HERE. I made this using SCS Sketch Challenge 290. The supplies I used are listed at the end of this post.

Did I tell you I love Hambo?? And you can too! Tim has a FREE digi image available right now (but it won't last!!) HERE. Be sure to check it out. It is so cute!

More news:

On Saturday, my son proposed to his girlfriend. He lives in North Carolina. I sent him my grandmother's engagement ring to give to her (Rachel) so it could be passed down our family lines once again. Oh, did I mention it was her birthday? I so wished I could have seen her face -- and his. And then I got a text message with a link to see!!! Check THIS out (I needed Kleenex....).

Is he amazing? What an awesome idea. And guess what? She loved the ring, and it FIT! No resizing even needed. She wears the same size that I do. And her birthday is two days after mine. Fun stuff. The wedding is November 6th in NC! They will both be here this coming Monday for almost a week!

They are coming for my next bit of news:
My daughter is in the Crane River Theatre production of "Godspell" which opens tomorrow night and runs for the next two weekends. If you are on Facebook, check it out! They have a page. Laura is one of two high school seniors in the cast of 12; the rest are college age or professional equity actors. We are so excited to see the cast's hard work come to fruition, and even more excited that her brother and his wife-to-be will be able to see it as well!

Another bit of news:
Well, this is partial news! I have been invited to be on a super fun Design Team - more about this in the days to come when I can officially announce it!

And my final news: I will be taking the Copic Certification class early next month from none other than amazing Lori Craig! I am very excited about that. I know that many of you have already been certified and I am behind the times, but there hasn't been a class close enough for me! And I never need an excuse to go to Lincoln (great mall there, you know....).

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out Timbo's FREE digi of Wee Henry!! Tim does amazing work, and his digital images are so fun and clever!

See you soon!

  2. Thanks for sharing the link to the photo shoot, Judy! WOW!! That's one handsome son you have, and the balloons were fantastic. I liked them swaying in the wind, but that last shot with the bunch sailing off is amazing. Reminded me of Le Ballon Rouge which we watched at an exhibition on childhood in Paris one time. Definitely Kleenex required :D. Lovely that the ring fit, too, without resizing.
Why did we never visit the Antrim coast before - we had a fantastic weekend - except that C left his brand new guitar tuner at church on Sunday, so we have to go back up this weekend for their monthly worship jam session to retrieve it.
