Today I wanted to share a card with you that I made last week for the SCS Color Challenge: Pirouette Red Pizzazz.

I used Posy Garland from Rubber Stamp Tapestry for my images. This is the cutest little floral set.  Click HERE for a sweet tutorial! I stamped my images on my white CS and then embossed part of the CS with my Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

I also made this for Walk on By for the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge at SCS. I walk/run downtown and in the neighborhood parks here. Downtown on every corner are 3-4 huge pots of flowers that the city maintains. They are filled with all kinds of beautiful posies!

Stamps: Posy Garland by RST
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Encore Metallic Gold
Accessories: Pearls (Kaiser), pink grosgrain ribbon, Spellbinders Scalloped Square die cut, Cuttlebug EF
Techniques: dry embossing, sponging

  3. Hi~

I really love all of the texture on this card! It is wonderful. I am so glad you used the posies in this way. I never thought of using them besides in a "wreath" form. I guess you can tell, I am rather new to your blog!

However, my mother and I both love everything you have shown so far...I am sure that will continue! Thank you for sharing, and for the colorful blog! Love it!
