Don't Be A Fool and Miss Out! It's a Hambo Blog Hop!

Welcome to the "Go Ahead, Laugh At Us" Blog Hop sponsored by Hambo Stamps! As everyone knows, today is April Fools' Day, and we wanted to share with you some fun, and even funny cards today! You  might have even heard a joke or a pig fact. I think it's time to hear another!

Pig’s explanation for the creation of the Universe: The Pig Bang Theory.  :)

If you happened here by chance, start at the beginning of the hop at Talk to the Ham.  We don't want you to miss out on all the prizes!  If you came here from Libby's blog, you are in the right place! YOU MADE IT! Congratulations!  I hope that you left comments all along the way so you can be eligible for the $15 gift certificate to Hambo Stamps, and also the digi image that I am giving away today. Read on!

My card today is made with a combination of digi images and rubber stamped images. All are colored with Copics.  My designer paper is Safari by The Paper Studio.  My card sentiment isn't foolish, and not as funny as some you have seen on your hop today, but I DO hope that you have a great day, because the Tribe of Hambo has spoken it!

My ribbon is from the Hambo selection of May Arts Ribbon.  I used #HA28, 3/8" Double-Faced Satin in Orange. I am longing for spring right now, and orange was just a good spring color! If you aren't a fan of orange, check out the rest of the beautiful rich colors that Hambo offers in the same beautiful satin ribbon!
I used my Fiskars Threaded Ribbon punch under the sentiment on the right.

What do you think? Leave me a comment and you will be eligible for a free digi.  I decided to offer the Jungle image, which is what I used for my background today. Take a look:

Leave a comment by Sunday night (April 3) at midnight CST and I will draw a winner on Monday! Share an April Fools' prank, or a pig fact! :)

Check out the Hambo Hoedown for more fun! We are so glad you joined us for the hop!  Now go out and have a GREAT DAY!

Stamps used: Jungle - digi; Chief Hambooli - 4119; Tribe Has Spoken - 4109

  12. Forgot to leave you a pig fact: Did you know that pigs can smell something 25 feet underground and that is why in Borneo they use them to sniff out the popular truffle?

  16. LOL! Is this a self portrait!?? I couldn't resist. Judy, I have fallen in love with the Hambo images. They are ALWAYS bringing a smile to my heart and laughter to my lips - especially when they are done in Jar-Full-of-Joy style! Ok, so I need to share a prank or piggy fact. I'm fond of porkers. Did you know despite their reputation that they are VERY clean, and quite affectionate, too? But if they are left wild, they become BOARS!!!?? :-)

Here is my pig fact: "Pigs are some of the cleanest animals around, refusing to mess anywhere near their living or eating areas when given a choice."
Ooops! Now, what should I call my kids' rooms...if not pig sty then what?

  23. Your sentiment immediately made me think of Survivor - one of my fave shows to veg out to! I don't know any pig facts or jokes that are any better than the ones I've seen on the hop or on the Hoedown blog, but I can tell you about an April Fool's prank pulled on me!

I substituted in my daughter's class on Friday. I was waiting and hoping there wouldn't be any pranks pulled on me that day. At recess a couple girls tried to trick me into thinking one of them was hurt, but I didn't fall for it so I told them to try it out on their friends. My daughter said, "Yeah, go try it on your friends and not my mom!" (OH, I forgot to tell you that they are in 2nd grade!) So, later in the day, my daughter was holding her stomach and was doubled over like she had run into something and hurt herself. Without thinking first, I said, "Are you all right?" She said, "April Fool's, Mommy!" Now how awful is that?! One minute she's defending me and the next minute she's pranking me!!! LOL
