I printed my image on Georgia Pacific white cardstock and colored in with Copic Markers. My designer paper is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet Collection.

Wine A Little!

Today we have a brand new color challenge for you at the Color Throwdown, courtesy of Tammy! I LOVE these colors together!
I stamped my images in Rich Razzleberry ink and then colored part of the bottle in with Copics and added a gem to the top of the bottle. I added three trims, a couple of patterned papers (Memory Box), a border punch (Martha Stewart), and some more little gems around the sentiment (Recollections).

My images are from Rubbernecker Stamps: Wine Bottle SKU:639-03 and wine a little SKU:640-04.
My trims are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Now it's time to check out the AMAZING creations from the rest of the CTD Team!

Accordian Fan Fold

I love hoarding my designer paper that has images on it rather than just patterns. I decided that at least once a month I have to make a project that uses some of that paper, and today is it for July! The paper is the Mariposa Stack from DCWV. I chose the accordian fan pattern first, and then found a contrasting pattern for the background second.
The fan was made by cutting a piece of the paper 8 X 2 inches. I used my Scor-Buddy to score every 1/4 inch. When I got to the end, I just turned it around to complete the scoring.
I held the fan in place with 1/4 inch Scor-Tape. I added some thin rub-on letters to the bird cage part of the designer paper for a sentiment ("thinking of you"). I adhered the fan, button, and Ivory Box Pleated Ribbon (Really Reasonable Ribbon) with 1/4 inch Scor-Tape (RRR) as well. I added a bit of  Light Green Curly Sparkling Trim (RRR) to the button.

Really Reasonable Ribbon is having a great SALE TODAY! Read all about it HERE.

Color Throwdown + Rubber Stamp Tapestry = Floral Delight!

Today's challenge #201 at the Color Throwdown was perfect for almost any of my Rubber Stamp Tapestry images. CTD Team Member Wanda Cullen chose some lovely colors that are fabulous for floral cards. Take a look:

I chose to use the Backyard Butterfly peg stamp set and make a round card with my Spellbinders dies and Stampin' Up!'s large oval punch for the sentiment (Flowers Feed the Soul, also from Rubber Stamp Tapestry).

The shades of color were achieved by stamping without reinking. I cut out the butterfly from the set and added it to the little sentiment tag, then added pearls to the More Mustard flowers. The polka dot designer paper is by The Paper Studio.

Last week each designer had blog candy to give away to celebrate Challenge #200. You can see all the winners on the Color Throwdown blog here. My winner was Lana of Lana's Layouts!  Lana, please email me (see sidebar) with your complete name and address so I can send out your goodies!

Come play along with us!

My card today uses fun papers from Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely collection and a sentiment from Rubbernecker Stamps called Thinking of You. My ribbon is the gorgeous Apple Green Satin from RRR with a little Aqua Baker's Twine on top. I used my 1/4" Scor-Tape to hold down the ruched ribbon.

Congratulations to Loll Thompson!
Loll's gallery is sure to delight your eyes - especially if you like CAS designs.

She has a GORGEOUS gallery, and I could case her for a long time!
Here is Loll's sweet card I cased.

but changed colors and images and added dew drops and distressing.

My images are by Rubbernecker Stamps. I stamped off Paint Splattered Screen in Certainly Celery ink, then stamped again on my Whisper White cardstock.
