I'll Get You My Pretties

It's Thursday and that means a new sketch
Here is this week's sketch #125!
I turned the sketch on its side for my layout today.  I started designing my card around Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells 6x6 pad. From there I chose a K & Co. glittery witch and bat die cut that I have had in my stash forever, and then added the cute sentiment from Chicken Girl Design's Happy Halloween stamp set. All my layers are held together with 1/2" Scor-Tape and popped up with Zva Dimensionals. Lot of layers and lots of fun! Linked supplies are available at i {heart} papers!
I made this card in honor of my daughter, who played the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz three years ago when she was a senior in HS.

A Little Laughter

Click here for Timeless Tuesday #244.

Today's SCS Color Challenge 350 was a fun one - especially since it contains one of my favorite cardstock colors.
Melon Mambo is my all-time favorite pink, and even though this looks a little red, it is MM! I used supplies from i {heart} papers to create this card (see below). The "laugh" was already printed on the purchased ATC card. My cloud is raining pink hearts and the moon thinks that is just silly :)

I like it -- raining pink hearts would make me smile!

This is also for Jeanne's HYCCT1302 Challenge to "make a card that will put a smile on someone's face!"

My moon and die cuts are from Paper Smooches Cosmos and Cosmos Icons die sets. I used one of my favorite ribbons, White Crepe, for my bow. The embossing folder is Spotted (Lifestyle Crafts). I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used 1/2" Scor-Tape and Sticky Thumb dimensionals to hold it all together.

Hope you have a great day and a chance to laugh!
Other challenges:
Stamps: Cosmos by Paper Smooches
Paper: Crafter's Companion Ultrasmooth White, Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Lifestyle Crafts EF, White Crepe Ribbon, SB Grand Oval die, Cosmos Icons dies (PS), ATC (The Paper Studio), paper piercer

Timeless Tuesday #244

This week’s Timeless Tuesday challenge brought to us by Hostess Katie is to…

My images are from one of my favorite sets, Flourishes' Pinwheels & Popsicles. Sunday was a beautiful day - perfect for ice cream and this card. Today, it is quite a bit colder, so I will have to make another plaid card for tomorrow since I think it is finally going to be moving on to winter here soon.
I stamped my cone Kraft cardstock, and then colored in with Prismacolor pencils. I added a little Spica Glitter pen to the cherry (Red) and cone (Chocolate) hash marks.

Be sure to check out what my team mates have created! Today we are saying goodbye to the very talented and sweet Broni. She will be missed on our team!

Stamps: Pinwheels & Popsicles
Paper: Kraft, MME DP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Prismacolor Pencils, Spica Glitter Pens
Accessories: Kraft bag, Cotton Candy Baker's Twine, Pink Chevron Ribbon (RRR), pink brads

Peace

It's Friday and that means some fun and gorgeous stuff from  The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!
The beautiful designer paper is Kaisercraft's Christmas Carol, pad, which also comes with several punch out sentiments and borders. The "PEACE" is one of those sentiments. I used Green Sheer Wrinkled Edge ribbon and wrapped the base layer, then tied a bow. I cut the circle with Spellbinders Classic Circle dies, and then pierced in a circle and added Pearl Kaisercraft Pearls  to accent the flower, a Maya Road Cream Ruffle Blossom. I love those flowers!

I love this week's Deconstructed Sketch #124 so used it for my layout again today.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

12 Days of CAS Christmas!

It's 12 Days of CAS Christmas and you will want to check out every day because The Stamp Simply designers have some amazing things to show you!
I started my card by cutting the three banners from Bo Bunny's Silver and Gold 6x6 pad using my Spellbinders banner dies, then scoring along the bottom with my Scor-Tool. I added Parrot Green Velvet ribbon, along with May Arts Gold Wired Beads for a fun look with my Prima Le Mia flower.

The sentiment is from Just Rite's Christmas Vintage Labels Four stamp set and is stamped using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I cut it out using Spellbinders Matting Basics B and then popped up using 3D Foam Squares.
I also scored down the right side of the sentiment rectangle.
A trio of Pearl Kaisercraft Pearls accents the sentiment.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

We're almost halfway through the 12 Days of a CAS Christmas!

EEK!

If you follow my blog, you know it has been awhile since I have posted anything - and awhile since I have made anything. My sweet mom, Ruth Ann Matthews, was admitted to the hospital the last week of September and passed away September 30. We miss her dearly. She loved papercrafting and making cards and we enjoyed stamping together! She especially liked making little gift packages and treat bags and would have enjoyed this fun little bag.
A quick little Halloween treat bag, this design has no stamping! I used Bo Bunny's Fright Delight 6x6 and cut out one of the little dressed up skeletons on one of the patterned papers for my little tag. It is mounted on another pattern in the 6x6 pad, and then cut out with Spellbinders Petite Scallop Circle dies. I added a little bow with Orange and White Baker's Twine. A cute little paper doily from Wilton and some Kaisercraft orange rhinestones finished the look.
The Polka Dot Bitty Bag makes it so easy and fast and is a generous 6 1/4" x 9 1/4". I wrapped it with 1 1/2" Black and Orange Gingham ribbon, which has a nice, flexible wired edge for shaping. The Prima Pom Poms in orange added a fun texture and some glittery chipboard letters from my stash made a fun finish.
There are so many fun Halloween papers, ribbons, and other goodies at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store that are on SALE! Be sure to have a visit and check it out!
