Day 12: YOU ARE HERE!

My project today is a trendy little tag - with some long-forgotten "used-to-be-trendy" embellishments - fibers!
I wrapped this sweet gift for my daughter (can't tell you what it is!), and added a fun tag using Lawn  Fawn's Winter Gifts - available at i {heart} papers

I stamped the tag with Memento Tuxedo Black, and then colored in the edge using a Copic RV06 marker. I stamped the snowflake from the set using three colors of ink, and then embossed the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx and Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using the coordinating die set, Tag, You're It!

Next up was the little snowman - stamped, embossed, and colored (he has a pink nose!), and then I added my favorite chunky glitter, Sprinkles, for snow along the bottom.
Finally, I pulled out those long-forgotten fibers, and tied two coordinating colors at the top. I know she will love the gift, and I think she will love the tag too!

Thanks for joining us these last twelve days! I have a goody bag of fibers, ribbons, twine, Scor-Tape, all in a cute chevron kraft sack with a tag just like this one for my prize winner!

To be eligible to win, just leave a comment here telling me your favorite winter activity - whether it be baking, sledding, shopping, listening to carols, staying inside by a fire, or wrapping gifts for your kids! I will choose a winner on the 23rd, and post it here on the 24th!

  1. Ooooh, love this tag with the adorable snowman and the pretty colors and sparkly fibers!

Fave wintertime activity: snuggling with my hubby while we watch a movie together. :)

How lovely of you to offer a sweet pkg of blog candy. Would love to win this goodie bag...the Scor-Tape sounds particularly interesting, since I've never tried it before! You did not try to coerce us into becoming followers in order to be eligible for your drawing (which I GREATLY appreciate!!), but I am a brand-new follower by Google Friend, nonetheless. I also already follow you by email. Yippee!!!

    Have a lovely Christmas!!!

  4. Love the tag. I put all of my presents in gift bags so I'm always looking for new idea.
My favorite thing to do at Christmas is stay inside and listen to Christmas music while I'm making my greeting cards, decorating, or reading. thanks for sharing.

  7. Darling tag! Thanks for a chance at a fun prize too... I love using ribbons and fibers!
My favorite winter activity... I love attending our local Victorian Christmas. It's a street fair, with music, craft booths set up along the streets, and shops that are all decorated for the holidays.

  8. We have quite a few traditions at Christmas that we all look forward to. My favourite is probably Santa's Elf'. I started this when my 16 year old was 4. They hang a little stocking on their bedroom door and each night of December until Christmas Eve the elf visits and leaves a little gift.
