A Little Froggy

If you read my blog yesterday, you know it's been a little foggy and cloudy here - for several days. I am one of those people that live on sunshine. So -- since it's been foggy, I stamped a little froggy. You can find it at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, along with lots of other fun things!
I stamped my sentiment and frog (JustRite Clear Stamp - Frog and Water Lily) with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and then colored in with Spectrum Noir markers. I cut my image and a mat using Spellbinders Circle dies, and then pierced the edge for a little frame. I added some glittered leaves from Prima's Wishes and Dreams collection.

My paper is from Anna Griffin's Olivia. I love the sturdiness of the heavier papers in her collections. This pattern reminded me of pink water lilies - perfect for Froggy. A little bling with Split Pea Rhinestones (Kaisercraft) and some beautiful May Arts white ribbon with its gold band (so elegant - and matches the gold band around the flowers in the paper!) finish the project.
My adhesives are  1/2" Scor-Tape and 3L's Tape Runner.

Today's forecast: sunny and warmer -- and my happy heart!
Sharon has bins full of fabulous sale items at amazing prices! Go check it all out HERE.
Thanks for stopping by!
