Bring On Spring!

I love the sassy look to Winnie in this new stamp set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps called Winter With Winnie. There are some really fun sentiments to go with this set. I chose "Bring on Spring" with spring flowers in the background and snowflakes in the foreground (I like how the snowflake has hearts like the blue DP!), making for a wishful change in temperatures.
I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Georgia Pacific White paper and then colored in with Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. It's almost time for a new release at SNSS, so if you haven't already, check out the February release HERE!

Warm Wishes for Spring

I am sending warm wishes for all of you in the throes of cold winter temperatures! One of my wishes is that Spring would come really early this year! I'm not holding my breath, though, so the mittens are staying out for now!
I used images from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Winnie's Warm Wishes, one of the new February releases. I love how the sentiments are all interchangeable to say all sorts of different things.

I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored the mittens with Copic markers. I decided to have them facing so the hearts were right side up. The banners are handcut, and the little mittens are backed by a purchased snowflake doily.

Be sure to check out the rest of the February release HERE.

It's was a crazy weekend at my house as my daughter got engaged! We are so excited and thrilled, and are busy planning for a summer wedding. I am on a roller coaster, with my first grandbaby coming in September (via my son and his wife), and now a wedding! 2015 is turning out to be a whirlwind year already!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Nearly Everyone I Know Has Caught One This Year!

Hello! Today I want to share a quick and easy card from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps using one of my favorite get well sets ever, Get Well Critters. I have been using a lot of watercolor paper and different types of inks lately, and today's card is an easy and fun way to make a cute and eye-catching background.
I used two different Distress Stains for my circle background, and then stamped both the sentiment and little bug with VersaFine Onyx Black. A quick and easy, colorful get-well greeting!
Hope you've let your bug go and are healthy!

I made two designs with this set for today's release. Each use the same color combination and watercolor backgrounds.
After the watercolor wash, I stamped the sentiment and flowers with VersaFine Onyx Black, and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The flowers are stamped on a wood tag.

Hey Cat Lovers!

I like cats. I just don't have any. My mom was allergic to them, and then my daughter, so we have always had dogs. But if I had a cat, it would be cute like this one!
Your cats knead you, right? My daughter eventually developed a tolerance for cats and today has a super cute one named Meowth. She says when he wants her to get out of bed, he kneads her stomach. Makes me laugh. They knead (need) you in other ways too!

Today is Club Set Release Day at The {Stamps} of Life and cat2stamp is ADORABLE.
<<<<<

There are also DIES! Yep. But you gotta be a Club member to get them this early!
Check it out HERE.

I made a couple of other designs with this cute set. On this one I embossed the fish bone with silver embossing powder and then punched it out with an oval punch. The cute typeset paper is from the brand new Celebrate Collection Patterned Paper Pad.
Love that there is a solid footprint and an outline! This sentiment is PURRFECT for those needed "pick-me-up" greetings:
And if you aren't a cat lover? Then check out Stephanie's dog, Cookie! I have one more cat2stamp design to show you later this week! Have a blessed day!
