Hambo's "One and Done" Silent Auction!
Each Thursday, Tim will offer a one-of-a-kind digital drawing. The drawing will be posted in the morning, and as soon as it's posted, the bidding will begin. Bidding starts at 1¢. To bid, you simply enter your bid total in the comments section of that particular blog post. There are no set increments, though each bid must be higher than the one before it.
The thing to keep in mind is that this image will only be sold to the winner -- it will not be listed for sale elsewhere (hence the "one and done") -- so if you win it, you can be sure that you'll be the only one using this image in your projects. Copyright for the image follows the same policy as the rest of Hambo's digital designs.
Bidding will continue until 10:00 pm (EST). The comments are time-stamped, so the last comment left at exactly 10:00 pm or before will be the winner, and will pay the price that was bid, via Paypal or money order.
If you're unfamiliar with digital images and would like to try them out before you place a bid, you can find links HERE to a couple of free image downloads to experiment with.
Tune in tomorrow to see the first "One and Done" image up for auction! Sounds like fun!
And for more Hambo fun, see the new Sketch Challenge blog HERE! We have a new sketch for October, so come and play for some fun prizes!

Peace Hope Love and Being Uncomfortable!

I stamped my sentiment in Basic Gray ink, then mounted it on a layer run through my Cuttlebug using the Textile folder. The flower was colored with Pretty in Pink and Sage Shadow markers. There are Diamond Stickles on the flower seeds.
There are three scored lines (Scor-Pal) at the bottom - the middle one has the silver beads, and there is one scored line across the top above the ribbon. (Click on the photo to see this better!)
I like it, but it sure isn't my usual fare!
Thanks for stopping by!

Here a Gobble, There a Gobble!

Nope, not turkeys - yet!
For SCS Inspiration Challenge 199 - The Pajama Squid
Isn't that an awesome site name? They had such fun stuff - wish my kids were still little, as I liked a lot of their things - especially the giraffes! May have to get a couple of those anyway.
But today I didn't make a giraffe card - I loved this little finger puppet kit with monsters and was inspired to use Silly Monsters, a Jannie Ho Chicken Girl design carried exclusively by i {heart} papers. Aren't the little "bites" out of the sentiment cute?
Lime Rickey DP, matching glazed brads and Spellbinders Nestabilities available at IHP as well!
Thanks for looking and have a monster of a day (in a good way, of course!)!
I am off to a parade downtown where my daughter is marching with her high school band. It is a beautiful fall day - perfect for a parade!

Out of the Box
For SCS Ways To Use It Challenge 237 . . .
We were to do something Out of the Box - different with our style, or something else.
I am not even sure what my stamping style is to do something different that way, so I decided to do a different fold. I always just do regular folds, so my "out of the box" is a different fold.
The inside sentiment says "Thinking about you in my heart; remembering you in my prayers."
Thanks for stopping by today! What is "out of the box" for you?

What Song Is It?
And now get ready to sing . . .

Monica, the owner of Hambo Stamps, issued a challenge to the Design Team this week to create a Hambo card inspired by a song. That simple. No requirements as to what kind of song, or what singer ... just a song, any song.
And so, I present Debby Boone and "You Light Up My Life"! (You can thank me later for putting this song in your head all day! LOL)
See what the rest of the team did HERE! We've got everything from arias to nursery rhymes!
Come play along with us!

Lovin' RED!

Here is a card I made a couple of weeks ago for a SCS Color Challenge. The colors were Real Red, Kraft, and Chocolate Chip. I sure am loving red right now!
I started with this beautiful "Meadow" designer paper by Michelle Coleman for Fancy Pants and went from there!
I frayed the edges of my satin ribbon and distressed the cardstock with PTI Chai Distressing Ink.
The top flower is white, and I used Camomille Ink (PTI) on that to match the DP.
Have a great day!

Congratulations to SHANNAN!! Shannan has SUCH a marvelous gallery -- so many are in my favorites, but I finally chose THIS ONE.
I kept her colors, layout and theme, but changed images, number of embellishments, Cuttlebug folder, left off the background stamping, and added a Spellbinders flourish. This is a standard A2 card.

Two Sneak Peeks!

I chose this tye-dyed guitar tee for my inspiration. I used alcohol, felt, and two reinkers to make the Polished Stone background for my frog. I should have added MUCH more Mellow Moss!
My son turns 21 in November and I made this card for him. Can you see why?

Please check out the blogs and galleries of the other talented stampers who are helping launch Totally Stampalicious over the next few days. They have some great designs to share with you!

New Stuff from IHP!
Today is a big day at i {heart} papers (IHP)! Not only is IHP releasing two more sets from the new line of Chicken Girl Stamps this month but Kate is also introducing a new design line called The Petal Press, designed by DT Coordinator, Tracy Schultz. I love her style and I’m sure you will too. It is *very* different from the CGD sets, so if cute animals aren’t your style then maybe you’ll love The Petal Press as much as I do!
It’s going to be a busy next few weeks, with sneak peeks of all three new sets beginning tomorrow and running through September 15. The full releases will be on September 16 so be sure to check the IHP blog every day for some samples.
