"Lucy" definitely knows it's her birthday -- she has been prancing around the house all morning. I think she would like some of my mom's leftover birthday cake!
Happy May Day! And oh my! Yesterday was 78 (but of course the forecast for today is only for 60) and my crabapple trees opened up in one day!! Take a look:

These are way easy - I found it! My favorite adhesive is my ATG gun - I love it! It is easy to use, the tape is very inexpensive, and it sticks really, really well - better than any tape I have used before. I even use it to adhere ribbon on cards.

I used MonoAdhesive most of the time, however I also use 3M's double stick tape as well.

ReplyDeleteThat one was super easy. I haven't actually used any adhesives yet :-/. I am new to this stuff, so I don't have very much and I haven't ventured passed simply stamping onto cardstock yet :) That's why I read all these blogs for ideas though!

ReplyDeleteMy 1/4" ATG gun is about the best adhesive for basic all around stuff. It sticks...it's inexpensive....it's da bomb diggity! I have 2 guns...the 1/4" and the bigger one :) Oh...I also love Uhu glue sticks. I have like 100 of them. I KID you not! I don't ever want to run out. HA! (I got a smokin' deal on them in bulk!) That's how I glue paper to chipboard. Works great!

Adhesive for cards, I use double sided tape from the dollar store, sticks great. Use gluestick only for sticking pp to chipboard (hate gluestick).
I would love to try the ATG gun though.

I use mostly Scotch Double Sided tape on all my cards and some Mono Multi (green bottle) as well as glue dots. I still have the first card I made last year and it is still sticking. A friend uses the tape runner from SU and the BD card (Feb. 08) she made me has lost some of its parts! Makes me leary of using it.

I've tried some different adhesives, and my current favorites are Tombow mono, the red double stick for heavier duty use, and Scotch wall mount squares for dimensionals.
Found today's answer (by the way, WOW!!). I haven't found an adhesive I'm in love with (no ATG yet, could that be the one?), but I make do with mono most of the time.

ReplyDeleteI found the answer ! My fav adhesive is Mono-multi with mono adhesive as a very close second . Some day I will invest in an ATG gun , I hear they are awesome !
ReplyDeleteLove how you copied the crab apple! My favorite adhesive depends on the project. Most of the time, I use the ATG, but for small pieces, it would be mono-multi or plain ole' scotch double stick.

ReplyDeletephew, another easy one! ;) It's too hard to have a favorite b/c they each have their pros/cons and I will favor one and then move on and come back. I was using Scotch double-sided for a while. And then I discovered Tombow multi, loved it at first. Now it's too messy for me. I think I hear that ATG gun calling my name!
