National Coffee Day Every Day - and a Sale!

Happy October to all of you! As many of you might know, National Coffee Day was a couple of days ago. I just read that coffee is second only to water in the US, and that the average American spends $1000 a year on coffee. Whaaaat? That's so crazy. I don't think I am in that category, but I DO like making coffee cards! 

This week at Stamp Simply, the team worked with black, white, and a pop of color. You can hardly go wrong with black and white! That combination makes any third color look great! I chose red for this week's card. With the die I used, it seems like we should be having coffee and playing cards!

I cut my die twice, once for the black backing and the second time to use some of the little pieces to fill in on top for the red. The flowers are from the Wedding & Anniversary Wishes set. I colored in some of the line drawing with a black Micron pen just for fun.
