What a great song ha! It has surely lasted the test of time - more than 60 years!
I am super excited to be sharing these cute monsters with you today using products from Prickley Pear Stamps. I’m using the Halloween Banner Clear Stamp Set CLR062A and Banner Die Set PPRS-D062.
I started by cutting a little mask out of thin paper (use masking paper if you have it!) and stamping the three tumbling monsters just slightly overlapping, as if they have bumped into each other in the night. I embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder to set the ink (VersaFine Clair Nocturne). I stamped the other two monsters, embossed, and began coloring my rainbow monsters with alcohol markers.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment, and cut with the coordinating banner, then cut another in black cardstock to set it apart from the main panel. I popped up the sentiment banner and the main panel with foam tape and adhered it to the lime green cardstock base. A few matching sequins for bling, and it's ready to send as a Halloween greeting or as a party invite!
This is so cute and yes, I am singing it. :)
