Holiday Shaker

Hello and happy Sunday! Today I had such fun making this neutral shaker card using products from Stamp Simply. I am using both newly released Christmas products as well as some tried and true favorites! 

I made the background shaker to look like snow with the Snowflake Blessings Border Strip. I adhered the Tartan Plaid to kraft CS and then cut out a frame using the Square Nestabilities. Added the sentiment banner and the Buck popped up and tied string around the panel before adhering it to the 5.5" square kraft CS base.

Christmas Release at Stamp Simply

Freshly Made Sketches #553

It's Wednesday and time for a new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches! Cécile is our hostess this week, with a fun artsy sketch.

I used one of my foliage dies from Poppy Stamps, and turned each one for interest. My sentiment is from The Greetery. I added some rhinestones from my stash for sparkle. The top and bottom of the panel is scored  stopping about half an inch from each end.

Beautiful Autumn

Yesterday and today were absolutely lovely -- a sign that fall is on its way. Rain and thirty degrees cooler than earlier this week! So today I am sharing a fall card in Release Week #2 from Stamp Simply.

I created a print background using acrylic paints and bubble wrap. I stamped my images directly onto the dry background with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, and then embossed with Clear EP to set the ink. A trio of rhinestones added sparkle. I love the contrast of the light pink card base with the bold print colors.

New Fall Release at Stamp Simply - and a Sale!

Today I am excited to share two cards using the new Fall release products from Stamp Simply. 

To begin I made two Distress Ink Oxide backgrounds using Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, and Spiced Marmalade DOX. I stamped all images with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.

The Sympathy Word Die is cut twice and layered with apricot and black cardstock to make it pop against the backgrounds. To finish, I added rhinestones for bling.
