Have a Cup On Us!

I am excited to be sharing today the new Have A Cup On Us Bundle from Stamp Simply! This versatile set coordinates beautifully with all of the other coffee and tea themed products too! I made two cards for today to show you!

For both cards I chose the Carta Bella Gather at Home 6x6 paper pad - my current favorite at the moment!

For the first card, I used the large tall cup die, and stamped a sentiment from Coffee or Tea? right on the patterned paper. It matches the background paper that I used, with the new Tim Holtz Simply Plaid die on top.

I popped up the cup, and also the double Java die (black and pink) from A Cup of Java. Everything coordinates so well. I used one of the Fishtail Sentiment Banners to highlight the WELCOME on the patterned paper.

Supplies from Stamp Simply:

Other Supplies:

  • light pink, black, white cardstock
  • foam tape, liquid glue

For my second card, I stamped the cups in VersaFine Onyx Black, and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the cups with various shades of black and gray Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment from Coffee or Tea? in the corner, and popped up everything with foam tape.  I love that foliage pattern in the background paper.

Supplies from Stamp Simply:

Other Supplies:

  • black, white cardstock
  • foam tape, liquid glue
  • clear embossing powder
  • alcohol markers
  • Elizabeth Crafts blanket stitch rectangle die

The Rabbit Hole Designs June Release Day #3

Please scroll down for my Freshly Made Sketches post today!

It's Day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs June Release!

Today I am sharing the adorable Rubber Ducky - Fishing 3 x 4. Isn't he cute?

I used a stencil coloring technique to lay in the stencil patterns ON the duck, and let those be feathers and shadows. Then I filled in with Copic markers. The stencil I used is a retired TRHD stencil - of course finished before I realized it, but you could use any of the current stencils in the shop! Thanks for stopping by today!

Patriotic Stars with Stamp Simply

Today I am sharing a clean and bright patriotic card using products from Stamp Simply. I love the bright white of these stars!

I chose two of the patriotic papers from the Echo Park Let Freedom Ring 6x6 pack and adhered them to a panel of white cardstock. I cut out several stars using the Old Glory Dies, popping up the larger stars with foam tape and adhering the smaller with liquid glue. I stamped my sentiment (Old Glory) in VersaFine Onyx Black ink, cut out using a Fishtail die, and popped it up with foam tape. Three sequins in red, white, and blue finished the card, which I mounted to a navy cardstock base.

Supplies from Stamp Simply:

Other Supplies:

  • navy, white cardstock
  • foam tape, liquid glue
  • sequins

Anniversary Pearls

While I do love diamonds, I am always drawn to pearls in jewelry. I love chunky pearls, delicate pearls, necklaces, bracelets, rings.... And I know our Lobsters from The Rabbit Hole Designs May release love these pearl rings!

I stamped the pearl oyster image from Lobsters for Life three times on white cardstock and colored in with alcohol markers. The sentiment was stamped and wonky cut for a fun look. I added pearls to match for extra bling!
You know, looking at these, they make cute pacifiers too, for a fun baby card!

Happy Wednesday!

Anniversary Wishes With The Rabbit Hole Designs

Today's share from The Rabbit Hole Designs is made with my husband and me in mind. We will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in July. Our married life has been such a fun adventure, and we have traveled many places together by car. So my inspiration for this card came from our explorations of the country and the world over the last several decades! Wow, that sounds OLD. Anyway -----

I used a hand cut cloud stencil that a stamping friend made for me many years ago to make the subtle sky, and stamped my sentiment (Just Married 4x4) on top. I then masked and stenciled a road-shaped section from the new Fiddlehead Stencil 6x6, and adhered it to the card front. I thought it made a cute "cobblestone" type design for the car. I stamped, clear embossed, and colored the car image (Copic markers), and then cut it out with the Coordinating Die. It looks like they are ready for another adventure!

Freshly Made Sketches #535

It's Wednesday and time for a new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches! Sweet and talented Amy is our hostess this week!

I absolutely ADORE the stamps from AALL & Create, and I have quite a collection! I have decided that they need ink, rather than me just adoring them from afar. Ha! So today I am using the Serengeti stamp set.

I used the A5 #136 stencil with two different DOX inks (Mowed Lawn and Crushed Olive), and made some "grass." I then stamped the tree in Memento Black Ink and colored with Copics. I did the same with that CUTE lion, and fussy cut him out, popping him up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment (me telling me that at this busy time of year at my work) and cut out a fishtail banner (SB) to follow the sketch. I think it's SO cute!

I hope you will join our sketch challenge, and add your creations to our gallery! This challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, May 9. Be sure to take a peek at the gorgeous cards my teammates have made on the FMS blog to inspire you!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with Stamp Simply

Today I am up on the Stamp Simply Blog with this pretty coffee card, celebrating the Coffee Lovers Papercrafting (Company) Blog Hop. MANY companies have prizes and/or discount codes, and Stamp Simply is giving away a $25 Gift Voucher to a randomly chosen SS Blog commenter! PLUS all Coffee themed products are 15% off!

I cut three circles, my cups/handles, and the Coffee word die out of the 6x6 paper pad. My sentiment and tag were cut from white cardstock, and a seam binding bow was tied around the tag. I arranged my circles on the kraft card panel, and adhered them with liquid glue, and did the same with the cups on the tag. I popped the tag up with foam tape and adhered it to the kraft card panel. I cut an extra Coffee Word Die out of white cardstock for stability, and glued it to the patterned die, then adhered partially to the tag piece.

I stamped my sentiment in black ink, and popped it up with foam tape. I added a few enamel dots to pick up the peach color in the paper and adhered the entire panel to a moss green cardstock folded card base.

Supplies from Stamp Simply:

Other Supplies:

  • kraft, moss green, white cardstock
  • foam tape, liquid glue
  • stitched tag and circle dies
  • enamel dots

Don't miss all the details about prizes and discounts - PLUS a FREE ribbon offer too! Check out the Stamp Simply Blog for all that fun Coffee Week deliciousness!

Freshly Made Sketches #534

It's Wednesday and time for a new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches! The amazinCécile is our hostess this week!

I just got this new Cup of Tea Bundle from Stampin' Up! Such a fun bunch of images. I used Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans, and Mowed Lawn DOX. I have decided that horizontal stripes (which I love to wear) DO make you look wider. This card is A2 size, but looks wider than 4.25"! Ha! I love this sketch and plan to use it a lot in the future!
I hope you will join our sketch challenge, and add your creations to our gallery! This challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, May 9. Be sure to take a peek at the gorgeous cards my teammates have made on the FMS blog to inspire you!

Wedding Season is Coming!

Happy May Day, everyone! I REALLY want to make May baskets someday and deliver to my neighbors. Another year is here, and it's just wishful thinking. But -- we had torrential rain last night for hours, and the wind gusts today are between 45-55 mph. What a May Day! I am looking forward to calmer air.... and wedding season! I love making wedding cards and today I have a very simple make for you that looks so fun and celebratory!

From white cardstock, I cut out the Tim Holtz corner die, and placed a sheet of the Vivid Ink Drops behind the die, picking up several different colors. I then stamped the bouquet and ribbons on a section of the Vivid Ink Drops and cut with the coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment, and then popped up both the bouquet and ribbon stamps. I added a few pearls, and voila!
