The Rabbit Hole Designs August Release Day #2

Hello everyone! It's Release Day #2 with The Rabbit Hole Designs! This is such a fun release, and today I am excited to share a project with the following new products:

Wonderland #1 Stamp Set (Tweedledee...or Tweedledum)
Tea Party Background 6x6 Stamp (I used 1/3 of the stamp)
Heard in Wonderland Stamp Set (partial sentiment)
Rhombus Hot Foil Cover Plate (dry embossed as an embossing folder)

This sentiment is so fun - but with my background choice, I didn't want to cover up any more of the tea party. So I masked off everything but the first phrase. It fits for a lot of occasions, I think! My images were stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, and then embossed with WOW! Clear Embossing Powder. I colored with alcohol markers. Look closely - don't miss that Rhombus embossed white panel!

There is a lot more fun in store for you at my teamies' blogs too. Here is today's hop line up:

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out The Rabbit Hole Designs Blog for info on the awesome giveaway happening with this release, and a special free add on with purchase of $35 or more (while supplies last)!

I decided to make a bokeh background using the stencil this time, moving the circles slightly off on the second blending with the second color. On my next TRHD post this Friday, you will see the full stencil (plus my teammates have some awesome samples!)

Here is the hop lineup for today. Be sure to go back and check out Days 1 & 2 on the TRHD blog.

A Little Dirt From the Desert with TRHD

My home state is Arizona. I love the southwest and all of its different, beautiful lands. So when I saw this Desert Background (illustrated by Dustin Pike) from The Rabbit Hole Designs June release, it took me back to where I grew up and lived for over two decades. It's where a lot of my family still lives.

I used a simple spotlight technique with Copic markers to highlight part of the desert with the cute snake (not so cute in real life, but we always got along). I used a sentiment from the SxS Life stamp set. A little twine to tie everything together and it's ready to send back home!

I hope you had a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by today!

The Rabbit Hole Designs June Release Day #3

Please scroll down for my Freshly Made Sketches post today!

It's Day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs June Release!

Today I am sharing the adorable Rubber Ducky - Fishing 3 x 4. Isn't he cute?

I used a stencil coloring technique to lay in the stencil patterns ON the duck, and let those be feathers and shadows. Then I filled in with Copic markers. The stencil I used is a retired TRHD stencil - of course finished before I realized it, but you could use any of the current stencils in the shop! Thanks for stopping by today!

The Rabbit Hole Designs June Release Day #1

Hello everyone! It's June Release Day #1 at The Rabbit Hole Designs

Today I am highlighting the SXS Life 6x8 Stamp Set.

Profits from every sale of this stamp set will go to fund injured drivers/riders, families of drivers/riders who have lost their lives, and organizations that promote & educate driver and rider safety in the off-road environment. This will be for the lifetime of the stamp set in the shop!

I used a partial masking technique to ink blend my background with Distress Oxides and then stamped and embossed my image within the circle. I added my banner sentiment, and adhered all my layers off center and wonky to match the "feel of the bumps in the road!"

Anniversary Pearls

While I do love diamonds, I am always drawn to pearls in jewelry. I love chunky pearls, delicate pearls, necklaces, bracelets, rings.... And I know our Lobsters from The Rabbit Hole Designs May release love these pearl rings!

I stamped the pearl oyster image from Lobsters for Life three times on white cardstock and colored in with alcohol markers. The sentiment was stamped and wonky cut for a fun look. I added pearls to match for extra bling!
You know, looking at these, they make cute pacifiers too, for a fun baby card!

Happy Wednesday!

Anniversary Wishes With The Rabbit Hole Designs

Today's share from The Rabbit Hole Designs is made with my husband and me in mind. We will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in July. Our married life has been such a fun adventure, and we have traveled many places together by car. So my inspiration for this card came from our explorations of the country and the world over the last several decades! Wow, that sounds OLD. Anyway -----

I used a hand cut cloud stencil that a stamping friend made for me many years ago to make the subtle sky, and stamped my sentiment (Just Married 4x4) on top. I then masked and stenciled a road-shaped section from the new Fiddlehead Stencil 6x6, and adhered it to the card front. I thought it made a cute "cobblestone" type design for the car. I stamped, clear embossed, and colored the car image (Copic markers), and then cut it out with the Coordinating Die. It looks like they are ready for another adventure!

Hello everyone! It's Release Day #3 at The Rabbit Hole Designs! I am excited to join the team with this May release.

Today I am highlighting the Lobsters for Life and the Coordinating Die.

I started with the new Fiddlehead 6x6 Stencil and used it as an embossing folder, by running it through my Big Shot on shimmery white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and my bride lobster with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I then colored in the lobster image with Copic markers. The coordinating die cut it out perfectly. I cut a heart out of vellum and glitter cardstock and layered those on my card panel, tying gold metallic thread around for added sparkle. I popped both the sentiment and lobster up with foam tape and added a few pearls for bling.
