Anniversary Wishes With The Rabbit Hole Designs
Today's share from The Rabbit Hole Designs is made with my husband and me in mind. We will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in July. Our married life has been such a fun adventure, and we have traveled many places together by car. So my inspiration for this card came from our explorations of the country and the world over the last several decades! Wow, that sounds OLD. Anyway -----

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with Stamp Simply
Today I am up on the Stamp Simply Blog with this pretty coffee card, celebrating the Coffee Lovers Papercrafting (Company) Blog Hop. MANY companies have prizes and/or discount codes, and Stamp Simply is giving away a $25 Gift Voucher to a randomly chosen SS Blog commenter! PLUS all Coffee themed products are 15% off!
I cut three circles, my cups/handles, and the Coffee word die out of the 6x6 paper pad. My sentiment and tag were cut from white cardstock, and a seam binding bow was tied around the tag. I arranged my circles on the kraft card panel, and adhered them with liquid glue, and did the same with the cups on the tag. I popped the tag up with foam tape and adhered it to the kraft card panel. I cut an extra Coffee Word Die out of white cardstock for stability, and glued it to the patterned die, then adhered partially to the tag piece.
I stamped my sentiment in black ink, and popped it up with foam tape. I added a few enamel dots to pick up the peach color in the paper and adhered the entire panel to a moss green cardstock folded card base.
Supplies from Stamp Simply:
- Coffee or Tea? Bundle
- Carta Bella Gather at Home 6x6
- VersaFine Onyx Black Ink
- Vintage Neutrals Seam Binding
Other Supplies:
- kraft, moss green, white cardstock

Praying for Peace
A blessed Sunday to you all!
Today I am sharing a card I made yesterday - thinking of the people of Ukraine. Our crafty friend, Yana, posted that they were able to celebrate Easter and go to church "between air raid sirens". Today I will go to church unhindered by anything. Definitely cause for reflection and prayers for peace.
Supplies from Stamp Simply:
- Sunflower Season Bundle
- Love
- Craft Consortium Watercolors 6x6
- VersaFine Onyx Black Ink
- Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
- May Arts Burlap String - Natural
Other Supplies:
- alcohol markers
- light green, light yellow, white cardstock
- foam tape
I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored my Sunflower with Copic markers. Once done, I die cut with the coordinating Sunflower die. I stamped my scripture sentiment (Mark 12:30) on the striped patterned paper, layered the two patterns of the Watercolors patterned paper on green and yellow cardstock, and popped up the front panel with foam tape. The sunflower is also popped up. I finished off my card by tying jute around the front panel.

A Blessed Easter to You!
A blessed Easter to you all! Today I am sharing an Easter greeting using products from Stamp Simply. I used the Spotlight technique today for my card.
I stamped the daffodils from He Lives with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, and die cut the cross from the Easter is for Jesus Die Set. The cut out cross I embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, and then colored with alcohol markers. I matted the uncolored cut card panel to a purple piece of cardstock, and then popped it up on the yellow card base. The colored cross was then placed and popped up into the cross opening. I added a few Lilac Rhinestones around the image and die cut. The inside (scripture from Easter Stamp Set, partial daffodil from He Lives) was stamped with Onyx Black ink, and matted as the front of the card.
Supplies from Stamp Simply:
- He Lives Stamp Set
- Easter Stamp Set
- Easter is For Jesus Dies (cross)
- VersaFine Onyx Black Ink
- Kaisercraft Rhinestones - Lilac
Other Supplies:
- alcohol markers
- yellow, purple, white cardstock
- foam tape
- Clear Embossing Powder
You can see more of the details about the products I used on the Stamp Simply blog.

Freshly Made Sketches #531
It's Wednesday and time for a new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches! Linda is our amazing hostess this week, with a fun sketch that has inspired the team to make a variety of amazing things!
I chose these adorable dies from Sizzix to create my card. I bought them last year before Easter and just ran out of time to use them. But boy, are some of those pieces tiny - like the little chick's beak and the bunny's nose! But I had a blast putting this together. The sky is actually a piece of cardstock I used as a "blending brush cleaner" for another project. I stuck it in my unfinished projects box, and months later, decided it could be my sky for today! So - as far as the sketch goes, my three "boxes" are the bunny, flower, and chick, with the clouds just floating around. My sentiment is from Spellbinders, and the grass is MFT.

Graduation Cards Made Easy
Spring brings a LOT of graduations - it seems pretty much April to June someone is celebrating a milestone achievement. Today I have two graduation designs that are easy to make with the help of some fabulous dies, and beautiful papers.
First up is this blue beauty. Every school but one that I have attended has had the colors of blue and gold. From elementary school to my university (in another state), and ALL of the schools in the town where I currently live - blue and gold are popular choices. This classy card uses amazing papers and two sets available from Stamp Simply:
I cut a piece of the beautiful Ink Drops Candy 6x6 by Craft Consortium for my background, and stamped one of the Graduation Sentiments twice along the bottom. I used another small piece of the paper and stamped "To the graduate" -- both are with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. All edges were distressed with a distress tool. I cut the cap and diploma from gold shimmer cardstock, and popped them up with foam tape on their matted panels. For a little extra shimmer, I tied metallic thread around the center of the card, fanning it out for interest.
Supplies from Stamp Simply:
- Graduation Sentiments
- Congrats Grad Steel Dies
- Craft Consortium Ink Drops Candy 6x6
- VersaFine Ink Pad - Onyx Black
Other Supplies:
- distress tool (for card edges)
- gold shimmer, dark blue, light blue cardstock
- metallic blue thread
- foam tape
Next up is a classic black and gold design, with some fabulous star paper and a glitzy tassel!
I cut the graduation cap twice with the die, and then fussy cut the tassel out of gold glitter paper to have it stand out. An embossing folder for texture, the gorgeous Pearlescent cardstock again, and the addition of that starry paper delight (grab it while you can!), a few sequins -- this 15 minute card has it all! (The 15 minutes does not count the hour thinking up the layout....ha!)
I love those fishtail dies for sentiments and banners!

Freshly Made Sketches #530
It's Wednesday and time for a new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches! Jen M is our amazing hostess this week, with a fabulous sketch and lots of creative possibilities!
I have had this adorable bunny die from Tim Holtz (Carrot Bunny) for over a year, and never had the chance to use it until now! Isn't he cute? I gave him a background full of flowers from Gina K Designs (A Little Love Layering Stencil Bundle) and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. The vellum oval was a perfect mat for my bunny, while not covering any of the background. I hope Jen will forgive me for stretching the sketch a bit. I just couldn't fit the sentiment on the way it shows below!
I hope you will join our sketch challenge, and add your creations to our gallery! This challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, April 11. Be sure to take a peek at the gorgeous cards my teammates have made on the FMS blog to inspire you!

Loved Beyond Measure
This card will be going to my beautiful mother-in-law for Mother's Day. She will turn 92 in the latter part of May too! What a gracious woman!
I created the background using the Tiles Layering Stencil from Tim Holtz, the new Saltwater Taffy DOX ink, and a blending brush. The wreath and floral spray from Stamp Simply were both stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black ink, and then embossed with WOW! Clear Embossing Powder. I watercolored the floral spray using my Kuretake paints.
Each of the images were then cut with the coordinating dies. The sentiment from Farmhouse Simple Sentiments was a perfect complement to the wreath. I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black ink, and then adhered the wreath to the card base with foam tape. A few Bliss pearls from Kaisercraft completed the card. I matted the panel with light blue cardstock to match the pearls, and then adhered to the peachy card base.
I love this wreath set (and the Fall/Christmas too!), and can see a lot of color combinations with the floral sprays! You can see more details on this card at the Stamp Simply blog.
