Too Much Easter Candy? How About Some Blog Candy?

Good morning!

I hope that those of you celebrating Easter yesterday were able to spend it with family! I had a wonderful time with my husband, daughter, and my parents, and also got to talk to my son on the phone. It was cooler than I would have liked, but spring is coming! My crabapple trees are budding and soon I hope to have a yard full of lilac blooms as well.
It was a fun and busy day yesterday and I didn't get here to post, but today I will share my fun stuff.

Susan, from Rubber Stamp Tapestry asked me to stay on her Design Team for another four months! I am thrilled to work with Susan, as she is one of the nicest people I know (cyberly speaking!). Someday I am going to meet her in person, as she lives very close to the city where my son attends college in North Carolina.

Here is a card I made with this month's special, Southern Dogwood:

You can see the supply list and the steps I took to make this card HERE.
And, I am offering this set as Blog Candy this week! To enter, go to Susan's blog HERE, or the RST main page HERE and have a look around. Then come back and tell me which sets or products you liked, or what you thought of Susan's awesome tutorials! Leave a comment on THIS POST by 11:00 p.m. CST on April 17th! I will draw the winner on the 18th using Random!

Good luck and enjoy the RST peg stamps!

Mouse Lovers, come back later this afternoon to see my mousie card for today's House Mouse & Friends Challenge!

  4. Judy, your card is lovely and I would love to win this set, thanks for the opportunity, though be it ever so small! Speaking of small, I had no idea all the lovely designs Susan shows in her tutorials are made with individual stamps...amazing....they are all wonderful but since I have to say the one I like best is the strawberry wreath followed by the Easter eggs. Actually I like them all, have never seen anything like it! Thanks for sharing with us, will bookmark the site!
So glad you had a lovely Easter with family.
    Hugs!

  5. Judy, you are so fortunate to be on the design team for RST. I just love their products. I have two (Porcelain Vase & Cherry Blossoms) but I have picked out several others for my wish list. I don't know if I could choose a favorite right now because they are all so beautiful. Yumy's Garden is a favorite, as is the Noel set. I love Azalea Terrace and Pansy Garden....see what I mean, I can't choose just one, lol! I love your blog and check it daily for inspiration.

  21. You did a beautiful job on your card! These peg stamps are new to me, and what an incredible addition to the stamping world they are! My absolute favorite set has to be the dogwood set because the dogwood tree is so special to me living in the south. Susan's tutorials remind me of the classes I've taken on making wreaths...same concept, except with ink! How fun!

  39. I understand all about the too much Easter Candy, we just finished making 1823 Easter Eggs for our church sale. The smell of chocolate still covers our house. I love the Tapestry web site. We use their stamps often to make cards for our shut-ins and for Birthday cards. They work up quickly and are always beautiful. I had not seen the oval cut out for chalking the background, something I need to order. Your web site is a pleasure to visit. Thanks
