Everything Whale Be Okay!

My project today for Pajama Crafter Stamps is making sweet waves with this card of encouragement. Featuring two lovable whales and the perfect pun: "everything whale be okay," it's sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. Let these gentle giants deliver some much needed positivity!

I started by ink blending a stencil from my stash using three Distress Oxide inks: Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina, and Peacock Feathers. I stamped the sentiment from Whale Wishes in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and then stamped my whales (Oh Whale) also in Nocturne. I embossed the whales with clear embossing powder, and then added a few highlights with alcohol markers. I fussy cut the whales and popped them up with foam tape. I filled in some of the areas with a few pink and teal flat sequins. Finally, I added a couple of half clouds from my stash to finish the sky. A fun patterned paper finished the mat, with a light pink card base. 

I hope this card brings a smile to someone today!

My card is made with the HAPPY CAMPER Stamp & Die Bundle from Pajama Crafter Stamps. We grew up tent camping, and I love it in the fall - just like this happy little bear. We even spent our honeymoon tent camping for two weeks! 

I colored my images with alcohol markers and made a simple DOX ink blended background for a CAS card. My little guy is so happy to be toasting marshmallows!

Makin' Waves at Pajama Crafter Stamps!

I'm so excited for the NEW RELEASE today at Pajama Crafter Stamps!

There are four new amazing stamp sets and a set of 8 flash cards to foil or color as well. And today the team is hopping on Instagram and MAKIN' WAVES!

My card today is a very quick and easy CAS design that anyone can make - even if you're not a confident colorer! I am featuring:

~Oh Whale (beluga, anchor, sentiment)

~What the Krill? (shell)

~Girl's Best Friend Rhinestone Embellishments

I love this sweet Beluga whale. I actually learned that they can blow the most amazing bubble rings - right out in front of them! But I did use some of the delightfully sparkly Girl's Best Friend Rhinestone Embellishments for my "typical" bubbles today. My whale was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. There is a very, very subtle bit of shadowing with a cream and gray Copic marker to give a little bit of color to the whale. I know you can't see that here! I colored the shell with Copics as well, and added a few dots with a White Gel Pen. The background waves are stenciled with Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, and whatever sand color I had left on my blender brush (Scattered Straw, maybe?).
