What Begins With T?

Top Tip Tuesday begins with T! And it's a "T" challenge there today! You will see all sorts of "T" things, from Techniques to Teenager cards, like mine:
My images are from Rock N Roll by Sparkle N Sprinkle. For supplies and instructions on how to make this card, click HERE.

Today I am on my way to Utah, to enroll my daughter in college for the fall. We will be there until Sunday and I look forward to seeing old friends! We lived there for almost 10 years, and my son was born there. I miss it!

Thanks for stopping by today. I have some fun posts planned this week, so I hope to see you again!

Criss Cross Applesauce Giraffe with a Long Rubberneck-er

Wow, that has got to be the weirdest title ever. And really makes no sense. So on to the post.... :)

Tuesday means a Top Tip Tuesday Challenge and there is an awesome Criss Cross Card tutorial on the blog today! I chose to criss cross my Baker's Twine (Really Reasonable Ribbon) instead of making that card style, and you can choose either (or both!) in the challenge this week!
This is my first card I have posted on my blog for Rubbernecker Stamps as a new Design Team member. I am thrilled and honored to be on this team. It feels like home already, as I have been cyber friends with almost all of the team for a long time. And two newbies to be new friends with too! I am excited to show you more of their awesome designs in the coming weeks!

So I thought it fitting that my first DT card for my blog should be a giraffe.  This little Giraffe and sentiment are a new release, and of course I had to have both! Her (dubbed "Georgette" by me) eyes and short little legs just crack me up. I am a giraffe lover, if that is news to you, and have been collecting all sorts of them since my first year in college -- a very looooong time ago!

I love the dimension that paper pleating gives to a card and it's so easy. Had to be pink too. There is a great tutorial this week on SCS for it that you can find HERE.

Thanks for taking a peek. I hope you will stop back by tomorrow for the Hambo Hoedown!

Top Tip Tuesday Challenge

Today is my first Top Tip Tuesday post! Be sure to head over to the TTT Challenge blog where you can join in our "Open Challenge" for this week - we are showcasing images from two sponsors today!
I chose Quill and Paper from Robyn's Fetish for my image.
Since I am still one-handed, I decided to keep my digital image uncolored and highlight it with Tim Holtz's beautiful designer paper using Mojo Monday Sketch 194 from last week. The hardest part was keeping those pearls in the right place. They kept wanting to stick together while I was trying to get them adhered. I just keep counting the days for two hands! :)

Thanks for taking a look! I have some fun news later this week that I am excited about! Stay tuned~!

And if you are looking for summer sunscreen or bug spray that really works, I hope you will check out my Avon website (right sidebar). Just click on the logo and it takes you right there! Free shipping on a $30 order~
