Feel the Joy

Yesterday afternoon was our last performance of "The Hound of the Baskervilles".  We had a fun cast party afterwards, where we all played a game called Sing Star.  It was pretty funny, and although I only knew two songs of the whole night, I was on the right team. :)

So today I feel the joy of having my evenings free - for this week at least, as the next show begins on Sunday. I am the Assistant Director for that one, so no lines to learn, or costumes to fit, or hair to put up.  I will post some pics from the show later this week.

Today I want to show you a card I made for today's SCS Technique Challenge - Wet Paper Stamping.  Joan has a fabo tutorial here.  I used the Feel the Joy kit from Unity for my card. I stamped first in Really Rust and then did my overstamping in Soft Suede. It was a fun technique and very easy.  Try it!

Thanks for stopping by today!

It's Release Day at Chicken Girl Designs!

It's 10-10-10!  I love numbers like that!  And it's also release day for Chicken Girl Design Stamps at i {heart} papers!  The October Collection is adorable, and I love the different holidays in the collection.

My card today features a pair of adorable birds.  You can make them cardinals or blue birds, or whatever strikes your fancy!  I printed my digi image on Copic Blending Cardstock by X-Press and then colored them in with Copic markers. My designer paper is Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey, and the ribbon is Green Herringbone. You can get all that fun stuff at i {heart} papers too!

Take a look at this darling digi collection:

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team has in store for you with these cute images!

I Am Ready!

I love fall, and am so ready for it! Football, cool days and breezes, colorful leaves, wearing sweaters.....making soup!

This little owl is from the September Collection by Chicken Girl Designs, available at i {heart} papers. He is colored with Copic Markers. I added Diamond Stickles to his scarf and frayed the end of the ribbon.

Thanks for coming to look!  I have had a lot going on lately (and have been sick this week), so I haven't been able to post as often as I would like.  I appreciate all of you that come for a visit!
