I think I better be good from now on. The digi image card was not too bad so I tried a stamped and watercolored one --- it looks so simple does it not? This could be one way to force me to learn to stamp CAS! :)
But -- I didn't realize how many muscles you use when you actually stamp versus printing a digi and not coloring. In any case, I think I learned my lesson.....on ice right now!
My images are from Sweet Pea by There She Goes. I watercolored my image with Melon Mambo reinker and an aqua brush. I added Spica Glitter pens to the flowers and stems. This is for the Milestone Challenge at TSG.
I also want to put in a plug for Top Tip Tuesday - a fun challenge blog that I am now a part of! Thank goodness I don't have to stamp for it for another week! More healing time.
Hop on over to try out these challenges plus:
SCS Teapot Tuesday - CAS flowers
Stamps: Sweet Pea by There She Goes
Paper: Madeleine DP by K & Co., PTI White
Ink: Melon Mambo, Memento Tuxedo Black, Spica Glitter Pens
Accessories: pearls, word window punch

My First One-Handed Card
I never knew how much truth was in the statement that I joke about: "Stamping is my therapy." I have not stamped for 10 days, and I can't believe what an effect that has had on me! It's different when I choose not to, but still can. But not being able to due to physical limitations is a whole different ball game. So, kudos to those of you with physical disabilities that continue to work to create!
I was kind of a basket case yesterday - my hand and elbow seem to be healing at a snail's pace and I was very discouraged, my sister arrived from Arizona, and my mom is in the hospital due to a shoulder replacement and left-hand carpal tunnel surgery on Friday. My daughter was having a tough day, and I can't do my laundry. (Now that shows a definite messed up mind. HA)
So today I decided I had to try one-handed creating. It's different than my usual style, and definitely not a lot of "stamping" and layers, but it made me happy so it served its purpose! Since I can only use one hand, I decided using a digital image would be the place to start.
The word art is by TLC Creations. I had these puffy pillow stickers (Spaghetti by K & Co.) in my stash, and matched them up with Echo Park's Summer Days DP and some fun pink buttons. Very simple design but kinda hard to do one handed. But hey - I am in a better mood, and that was the whole idea! (Slow typing this post as well, but I am happy I can do it at all!)
I take so many things for granted - opening any kind of screw top (thank you pump and spray bottles!), pulling up and fastening jeans, putting mousse in my hair, cleaning my left ear, driving a car, exercising.....so many things.......soon I hope!
Oh - if you love ribbon, head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog - they have a huge giveaway going on right now!
Thanks for stopping by today! And a HUGE thank you to my stamping friends that have sent me cards, and little pick-me-ups! I hope to post some of those things here soon. Have a wonderful day~!
Challenges:
Catch the Bug - anything goes
Crafty Catz - circles (buttons and circles on frame)

Beautiful Samples and Beautiful Stamped Jewelry
Have you seen the new jewelry that Rubber Stamp Tapestry is making with their stamps?? It is just divine and you must check it out! Take a peek at what Susan is showing this week:
The RST stamps make beautiful jewelry, don't you think? I hope to try this asap after I can stamp again. For now, I want to share a card I made a few days before surgery (I was busy then so I would have things to share now).
Click on the photo for a close-up of the pretty little flowers.
I made this using the Waving Wildflowers peg stamp set and the Forever block stamp. Here is a tutorial using this dainty set. I hope you will give RST stamps a try -- you can make all sorts of things with them!

NEW RELEASE and NEW DESIGN TEAM at Hambo Stamps!
Over at the Hambo Hoedown today we have lots of fun stuff: eight new digi releases and six new team members! The new releases are adorable and go so well together! Each new team member (and me, the old one!) are showcasing one of the eight new releases.
I am introducing TREE KID. My image is colored with Copic Markers and paired with K & Co.'s adorable Sleepy Tree designer paper.
I think he could be Broccoli Kid too - his super hero alter ego! I might have to try that and color him all green (Timbo is surely rolling his eyes at me......). The challenge today at the Hoedown is to use BUTTONS on your project. I paired my dark green button with some grosgrain ribbon, twine, and two stick pins. Clearly not a card for the underage set! I am saving this as one of my cards to send my daughter when she moves 15 hours away in August to go to college.

You can find all of the "New Kids on the Block" HERE.
And now welcome the new Bacon Bits:
Thanks for stopping by today! I have to admit, I made this card before my surgery, and am glad. I am not quite ready to try stamping, even one-handed, yet. Thanks for all the well-wishes. Things are progressing, but the pain level is too great to try anything but watching movies and typing one-handed very slowly!
Other challenges for this card:
My Time to Craft - cards that make you smile
Paper Minutes - quadruplicate (4 embellishments: ribbon/twine, pins, button, brad; 4 different papers)
Partytime Tuesdays - anything goes
Top Tip Tuesday - wrap it up with ribbon
Cheerful Stamp Pad - special reason (encouragement to daughter)
Happileigh Scrappin' - lots of embellishments
Incy Wincy Designs - nature
Nettie G's Digital Gems - childhood fantasy
Woodware USA - forgotten embellishment (pins)
