Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon and The Rubber Cafe Blog Hop! If you arrived here from True's blog, you are in the right place! If you just happened along, be sure to start at the beginning at The Rubber Cafe Blog (I am the third stop, so you don't have far back to go!) so you don't miss out on the awesome projects, fun news, and prizes from Really Reasonable Ribbon and The Rubber Cafe!
I love Bonnie's choices for the April ribbon club package. If you really love ribbon and would like to have a wonderful assortment of ribbons sent to you automatically each month, just join the Really Reasonable Ribbon Club! Monthly ribbon club assortments are selected and pre-packed to reflect a specific theme, color, or holiday season. The assortments vary from month to month, but an average assortment has 5-8 different ribbon styles and consists of 10-15 yards of ribbon. You will love it!
My card today is made with one of my favorite stamp sets from The Rubber Cafe called Just My Type. It has five sentiments with this fun typewriter. I chose the darling Pink Dotted Grosgrain from the RRR April Ribbon Club collection and pleated it using Scor-Tape.
I stamped my images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then used a R83 Copic marker to highlight the pink areas. The designer paper form Crafty Secrets' Radiant collection was perfect for the style I wanted. A few of my favorite Rose Pearls and Cotton Candy Baker's Twine from the RRR Store, and voila! My sketch is from Jen's Deconstructed Sketch 46.
I am on the bandwagon with the typewriter craze -- but I have really loved old typewriters for a long time. My dad was a writer and had a beautiful Underwood that I hope to find in storage someday. Until then, I will be happy with my junk jaunt find - a vintage Royal!
Thanks for stopping by today! Now on to Irit's blog, where you will have a feast for the eyes with her creation!
