Banana Guava Chips!

I am thrilled to be Hambo Stamps's Guest Designer for July, and today I made a card with two of their really cute stamps.

Today's SCS Color Challenge was to use Barely Banana, Chocolate Chip, and Groovy Guava. Now, I have not been a Guava fan, but when I saw today's colors, I knew I wanted to ink up my little goose stamp! I stamped my image (Mother Goose - 0620) in Palette Noir Black ink and then watercolored using reinkers and an aqua brush. When it was dry, I punched it out using my Marvy scalloped oval punch and then layered it with a punched larger oval that I ran through my Cuttlebug. A few more layers, a few layered Primas, and I am ready to attach my "hanger" for my little picture frame. I used grosgrain ribbon and a small Chocolate Chip brad for my picture hanger. I added a scalloped border using Basic Grey DP made with my slit punch, and added a small piece of the same DP in the upper left hand corner for a little interest. The inside of the card is stamped with "Special Delivery" (Special Delivery - 1506). I think it makes a darling new baby card!
