And I was inspired by this painting that is in my living room (one of a few - and this is not the one my dad gave me!):
I wish I had remembered to spatter my card, but I didn't, so it will have to stay the way it is!

Very pretty Judy. Your coloring is wonderful and I love the painting your dad bought you.
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning Judy. Love how you snuck the green in there!
ReplyDeleteWow - that is amazing! So pretty - love the black stripe that makes it all pop!
ReplyDeleteI love poppies, too. I have done several embroideries with them over the years -each time I give it away and I still have the last one I did unframed. So not given away yet, LOL, but not on the wall.
ReplyDeleteI like both yours, the picture and the card. I really liked the colour *shdows* or whatever I should be calling them.
Poppies are beautiful and so is your card.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Poppies are lovely. Love the painting and your card, too! I have a couple of poppies (not oils)framed in my living room, as well. Mostly, I look forward to pasting a giant set of three poppies (it's like wallpaper) on the wall of my new home. Hey, your painting would look tremendous with that, LOL.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I too love the black stripe....very very nice!
ReplyDeleteI love this card and I am so amazed with the water colouring on it. TFS.
ReplyDeleteJudy, this is the closest to your email I could locate to thank you for the folded card tutorial. Love the poppies, too! Coloration and shadowing make the eye curious to scan the entire mat. Super! Wanted something different for the next soldier cards, the tutorial did the trick! and a fallish October birthday card doubly blest the tutorial effort in non-t or t fashion. Abundant blessing. In this frame, would you be so kind as to email me regarding creative stamping Christian sisterhood at mt23stamper@yahoo.com?
