My confession is:
I tend to hoard designer paper! Horror!!! I know, there is no one else out there that does this. So I thought I had better come clean and admit it to all my paper crafting friends. I know none of you have drawers of paper, or those stand up files of paper waiting to be put on a card. And none of you like to just look at it. Certainly there is no one out there that hesitates to cut into a new big piece. And when you go to wherever you shop for those necessary supplies, paper doesn't find its way into your basket. I mean, 50% off isn't such a great deal, is it?
Well, guilty as charged am I. So here is a little card (if six inches is little...) using some of my beautiful, kept in a drawer, Basic Grey Figgy Pudding and Wassail designer paper. I think the snowmen from Hambo Stamps are enjoying their snowy forested paper scene. Much more than just plain old cardstock. Oh no! Is there a solid cardstock color I haven't been using?? Off to look!

This is too funny. Hi Judy! I wouldn't know ANYTHING about the designer peper "problem". My Husband, who is just so sweet, often asks me when I am opening my craft room for business! He's just so cute.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute card. I love the images and dp. Yes, I think all stampers 'hoard' dp. It seems no matter how much dp I have, I never seem to have just what I'm looking for when I need it. Or, maybe I just can't find it, because there is so much of it.
ReplyDeleteHah! Me, hoard paper? No way!? JUST LOVE this little snowman and glad you were able to cut into that cute paper!

I never hoard paper! OK, maybe I mean I always hoard paper... The other day I cut into a 12" piece, and I used the middle part....ack! I almost cried doing it, but I really wanted that part of the pattern.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous, and I'm glad you used this paper, it is so perfect with this stamp and layout!! I also love how you added the ribbon hardware!!
