I made a quick (for me!) card using the beautiful Holiday Treasures paper by Stampin' Up! and a sentiment with a gorgeous font from Joy to the World by Our Daily Bread Designs. The border punch is from Martha Stewart. The ribbon and gems are from my stash of stuff all jumbled in a drawer...... I really need to organize all that!
Today is the day my son comes home from college. He will be here in about seven hours; the airport is three hours away, so my husband will drive there this morning and pick him up. I had planned to go along, but the forecast is for freezing fog, sleet, freezing rain, and snow on the way back. I think they will have a more relaxing ride back without me! :)
A couple of places to visit today:
Hambo Stamps is offering free shipping on retired stamps - wait until you see the new designs coming out in January (maybe even later this month!). I am really excited about one in particular.......shhhhhhhhh! No more hints! And check out this fun drawing by Tim Hunter -- you will definitely want to be buying some Hambos!
And a new blog to me: Rica's Haven - has some wonderful blog candy from Basic Grey - and lots of fun stuff to look at!
Thanks for stopping by! I gotta get crackin' and straighten up this place!
