There is Nothing Like R & R!

Well, I am back from my Arizona trip and my visit with my sister. We had such a great time. We did all sorts of fun things --- and I got to feed one of the giraffes at the Reid Park Zoo! It was super cool and I had a great time doing it. I do have a couple of pictures, but my sister still has those on her camera, so I will post them as soon as I get them. I don't have a Michael's in my town, so of course we had to go there -- and I only spent $35! Pretty good, wouldn't you say? :)

I also got to have lunch with Connie McCotter (at Macaroni Grill YUM!) and it was a delight to finally meet her. Connie has our picture! Send it on over, Connie! :) I know she is with her family in the White Mountains right now, and I hope to show that picture soon too.

Now I have to draw on that R & R, as in the next two weeks I have performances for three musicals I am working on (yes, concurrently - don't ever do that......). Everything is done April 5, and I will be RESTING that day! HA!

Today I got to stamp something new for the first time in a week. And what fun it was. Today's SCS Featured Stamper is probably in the Top Five of everyone's book - Beate Johns! Beate has such fantastic designs and ideas, and is the nicest person! If you aren't a frequent visitor to her blog, you will be now! She just recently hit almost THREE MILLION hits.

I really loved the whole look of this card of Beate's, so I didn't change much at all - and I am now wishing I had changed a LOT, as I still love hers more!

I changed images, added a layer of ribbon, left off the corner punches on my black layer, and used DP instead of stamping the background. And I am out of Kraft! Ordering that today! Stamps are from Scripture Collection 1, newly released last week by Our Daily Bread designs.

Congratulations, Beate!! I could case you forever!
