What a beautiful week of spring it has been here. My crabapple trees, tulips, lilacs and rose bushes inspired my card today. All I see when I go outside is the vast array of color in the trees and plants. I wanted to focus just on that, so I made a CAS (Clean and Simple) design today.
I stamped my images from Stamp School’s new April set, Flowers for Mom, using Razzleberry ink for the rose and Jellybean Green ink for the leaves.
Using my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots embossing folder, I embossed a background for my card to give it some elegant, but simple texture. I added some beautiful crocheted Noelle lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon and framed my images with a Spellbinders die. Easy, but pretty!
I am sharing this at CAS-ual Fridays for their Name That Tune Challenge. My song is "Paper Roses" by Marie Osmond! (Dates me, I know!)
Thanks for stopping by today!
