I
love hoarding my designer paper that has images on it rather than just
patterns. I decided that at least once a month I have to make a project
that uses some of that paper, and today is it for July! The paper is the
Mariposa Stack from DCWV. I chose the accordian fan pattern first, and
then found a contrasting pattern for the background second.
The fan was made by cutting a piece of the paper 8 X 2 inches. I used my Scor-Buddy to score every 1/4 inch. When I got to the end, I just turned it around to complete the scoring.
I held the fan in place with 1/4 inch Scor-Tape.
I added some thin rub-on letters to the bird cage part of the designer
paper for a sentiment ("thinking of you"). I adhered the fan, button,
and Ivory Box Pleated Ribbon (Really Reasonable Ribbon) with 1/4 inch Scor-Tape (RRR) as well. I added a bit of Light Green Curly Sparkling Trim (RRR) to the button.Really Reasonable Ribbon is having a great SALE TODAY! Read all about it HERE.
