Today I am sharing a one-layer card --- the hardest kind for me to make!
And a sympathy card at that!
I masked my card and sponged on the beach colors, then stamped my images
from Rubbernecker Stamps with Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand inks.
I added a few Kaiser pearls for embellishments.
The sentiment says "May time bring happy memories instead of present sorrows."
I like how calming this is.
Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamps |
Paper: Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up!) |
Ink: Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, More Mustard, Bashful Blue, Bliss Blue, Tempting Turquoise (Stampin' Up!) |
Accessories: Chino Pearls (Kaiser) |
Techniques: sponging, masking |
This card is stunning! Love the subtle sponging! Great OLW card, Judy!
ReplyDeleteJudy - that's beautiful, and a perfect sympathy card. The sea is, I think, always tranquil and calming, and the verse is lovely. I need to stock up on a couple of sympathy cards myself - I ended up stamping a sentiment on another suitable card in a hurry this week!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so serene & peaceful Judy! I love it. Great talent you have ! Hugs Lori R.

ReplyDeletePerfect simple card! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA stunner of a card (no staging needed)! Looks very much like the ones we made with Melissa. Gor-juss!!
