Freshly Made Sketches #375

(Please scroll down to see my card from the adorable February Paper Door Kit by Whimsy Stamps!)

It's Wednesday and time for a new sketch at FreshlyMade Sketches! C├ęcile is our hostess today, and has a wonderful sketch for you to try out! The team came up with such fabulous designs, so be sure to check them out HERE.
I decided to go with some tropical heat for my design. The flowers are cut from a monoprint I made with my Gel Press. The middle "panel" is sponged with Memento ink, and has a vellum strip on the left side. The ferns and little flower are also sponged with Memento, then cut. Some brightness for this winter month!

You really have to go see what my teamies made - there are some amazing ideas for this sketch! Come play along with us. Our challenge is open until 3 PM EST on Monday!

Stamps: Botanical Blooms (SU!) Paper: GP White, SU! Vellum, Only Orange, Rose Red
Ink: Memento Inks, Liquitex acrylic paints Accessories: Botanical Blooms dies, Kaiser pearls, Gel Press Techniques: sponging, monoprinting

  5. Ohh, the bright, cheery colors are so wonderful! I love snow, but... I love that you used a gelpress print. I am trying to do more of that- I make them and don't do anything with them, LOL. Fabulous card, friend!
