Freshly Made Sketches #458

Hello everyone! It's Wednesday, when I get to share the new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Kim is our fabulous hostess for this week. Her landscape sketch has a lot of space for interpretation, and I think you'll have a lot of fun with it.

I have a very simple CAS design and some die cut leaves for my card this week. I started by masking off a section of three rectangles using Purple Tape. I used Tea Dye and Festive Berries DOX ink and blended them toward the center.

I flipped the sketch (and then forgot a layer - oops!), and put my sentiment from Bird of Paradise (Picket Fence Studios) on the left side with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I cut five leaves - three from Memory Box patterned paper, and two from Crumb Cake (Stampin' Up!) cardstock using the new OAK LEAVES DIE from PFS. I added a Plum Kaiser Pearl in the middle. Super simple, but a mailable card for fall!

I hope you will join our sketch challenge this week, and add your creations to our gallery! You have until Monday, October 12, at 3 PM Eastern time to join us! Be sure to stop at the Freshly Made Sketches blog, and click on the names of my teammates to see what beauty they have created this week!

I am also entering this in The Color Throwdown this week!
