Deconstructed Sketch #126

It's Thursday and that means a new sketch
Here is this week's sketch #126!
Today I kept the basic layout, but changed some of the panel shapes. I used a circle instead of a rectangle, and added my tall savannah grass instead of the banner. I also kept the same designer paper in the background, rather than having two different types.
My images are from Lawn Fawn's Critters on the Savanna stamp set and matching dies. I stamped on Ultrasmooth White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in with Spectrum Noir markers. I did the same for the sentiment, and then cut it out using Avery Elle's Oh Yeah caption balloon die. The grass is a Magnolia die cut. My button (Buttons Galore) is tied with Aqua Blue Divine Twine. My fun designer paper is from Echo Park's Bundle of Joy Boy 6x6.  Linked supplies available at i {heart} papers!

Happy Birthday Tim!

Today at the Hambo Hoedown, the Bacon Bits Design Team girls are celebrating Tim Hunter's birthday! Tim is the pen (pencil?) behind all the Hambo Stamps images (well, maybe not QUITE all, but almost - Monica is responsible for a few!) and we wanted to wish him a happy day. His birthday is actually later this week, but today is a NEW CHALLENGE at the Hoedown, so we are celebrating a day early.

Our challenge is to make a CAS (Clean and Simple) design! Easy! You don't even have to make it a birthday greeting. We all did for Tim, but the challenge is open to any kind of greeting or occasion. You can play along with us here.

For my birthday greeting I chose Caveman (4221) and Back Then (4206)
I stamped my Caveman on Whisper White cardstock (SU!) and then colored in using Copic markers. I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then cut a blurb out of Kraft using an Avery Elle die (Oh Yeah). I stamped my sentiment on the Kraft with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM!!

Be sure to check out what my team mates
have made to wish Tim a happy day:

Timeless Tuesday #245 - Gratitude

This week’s Timeless Tuesday challenge #245 is brought to us by Hostess Cheryl:

I cut my "negative" frame using a Spellbinders Labels Seventeen die and used Walnut Grove 6x6 paper as my designer paper. My images are from Dreaming of Florence. I stamped my sentiment in Palette Noir ink and colored in the scene using Copic markers. A pretty ribbon and bow, some lace trim, and a fancy brad, and my autumn greeting is ready to send.
Be sure to check out what my team mates have created because they do amazing work!

Glittery Gold

It's Friday and that means some fun and gorgeous stuff from  The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!
The beautiful designer paper is Kaisercraft's Christmas Carol, pad, which also comes with several punch out sentiments and borders. I embossed the sentiment (Just Rite's Christmas Vintage Labels Four stamp set) with Gold Embossing power and then cut the circle with Spellbinders Classic Circle dies. I added a trio of Champagne Kaisercraft Pearls and a row of May Arts Gold Satin Trees.

I wanted to let the beauty of the paper show, so didn't cover it up with too many other things. :)

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
Be sure to have a visit to see what other wonderful things Sharon carries! So many fabulous things on sale >here<.
