What a beautiful day we had here yesterday. It was one of those that my daughter and I love. Cooler temperatures, a little misty, and soft rain throughout the day. The kind where you just want to curl up and read a good book (which she did - from start to finish!) - or stamp (which I did!).
I made this card for the SCS Inspiration Challenge. We had a marvelous table setting to inspire us. I love the bold colors.
I used Papertrey's Birds of a Feather set, and two new In Colors: Pacific Point and Riding Hood Red. I stamped the flower is RRR and Old Olive and then brushed them with a wet brush to smear the ink a bit. The bird is stamped twice and raised on Stampin' Dimensionals. I thought about adding some glitter to the flower middles. What do you think?
Stamps: Papertrey Birds of a Feather |
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Pacific point, Whisper White, K & Co. DP |
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Pacific Point |
Accessories: scallop punch, word window punch, paper flowers, large brad, sewing machine, baby rick rack, aqua brush |
Wow! What a great interpretation of the inspiration picture. The colors you used are a real match and the red flowers and napkins are represented perfectly. And the white flowers, too. Super job.
