I made this for the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge #338. Since I work on Wednesdays during the school year, I rarely get to play, so I am enjoying the summer and doing those challenges. Here is my sample for the challenge:
And here is the Sketch:
I wanted to use some of my new Rubbernecker images that were totally different from yesterday's giraffe, so I chose the Love Set. My main images are embossed with gold embossing powder - my favorite is Ranger's Queen's Gold. I added some other branches in Regal Rose along the edge of the circle.I had to pull out my Creative Memories circle cutter that I haven't used in forever to cut that large of a circle!
I plan to save this until November and give it to my son and his wife on their first anniversary!
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek! Come play along in the challenge!
Other challenges for this card:
Creative Belli - starts with G (gold embossing powder)
Crafty Creations - sparkly (metallic paper and pearls and embossing powder)
Little Red Wagon - anniversary cards
Shopping Our Stash - tools of the trade (hadn't used circle cutter)
What a gorgeous card with that texture, the gold and the beautiful flower - very romantic feel to it. I was thinking wedding, but of course it will be a fabulous anniversary card too.
