Go Ahead, Laugh At Us!

Welcome to the
“Go Ahead, Laugh at Us!” Hambo Stamps Slop Hop!

The Bacon Bits are here to help you start your month off right with a little April Fools laughter and fun.

If you arrived here from {Beverly}’s blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you will want to start back at the beginning at the Hambo blog – TALK TO THE HAM. We don’t want you to miss anything!

A little surprise is hiding on one of the blogs today, so be sure to leave some comment love as you “hoof it” around the hop. One lucky commenter on the mystery hop spot will be in hog heaven and win a gift certificate to Hambo Stamps!

And I am giving away something as well: a super cute digi {Mom With Stroller} that is perfect for Mother's Day, new baby, or just to say hi!
How do you win? Leave a comment on this post by Tuesday, April 3, at midnight CST!
TWO entries for those with a Cricut that tell me what you favorite cartridge is (I am a new Mini Cricut owner, and need advice!)! We love comments anytime, but the deadline for prize entries is Tuesday, April 3 at midnight CST.

So on to my card! My card today is made with two rubber images from Hambo Stamps: Lawn Mower - 0711 and Mower Love - 0710. I love the little play on words with the sentiment. I stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and then embossed my lawn mower with Clear EP before coloring with Copics.
Don't you have a zillion of those little Prima flowers? They were the first Primas I ever owned, and I decided I wanted to start using them up!

You might have noticed the Bacon Bits are sharing pig jokes and/or pig facts.
I have a pig fact I thought was interesting:
Q: How loud can a pig scream?
A:  The scream of a jet engine taking off measures 113 decibels.
The scream of a frightened pig can measure 115 decibels.
WOW~!
You have officially finished the hop! We will post all blog winners at Talk to the Ham on THURSDAY, April 5!

THANK YOU for joining our Slop Hop today!
Take a look at this fun stuff too:

  7. I love the sentiment on the card! It is just perfect and will have to try that technique before coloring-getting great ideas today! My fav cricut cartridge would be Storybook? 8. Oh, Judy, my side hurts from hopping today with Hambo!! I love that mower, and those clouds are too cute! I love my Cricut and have several carts, but I think my fave would have to be Hello Kitty Greetings. You don't have to be a HK lover to enjoy the many differently shaped cards you can cut with it. My newest fave letter cart is Cursive-amazing alphas!!
Thanks for not hogging all the jokes!!

  9. My fave cricut cartridge is cutting up. I love to use it as lettering for posters, but for scrapbooking, I like to use animal kingdom since it has a wide variety of animals with lots of possibilities.

  16. I love your card. I am drawn to them clouds...love them. Very cute saying. I also never knew that about a pig.

I have 2 cricuts and my favorite cart. for accents is "Reminisce Accents" which is a cricut cartridge but sold by Creative Memories. However...my favorite one for lettering is still "George and Basic Shapes". The letters are easy to read. This don't mean I don't use others or fancy letters or accents but these are my favorite.
