Today's share takes a texture from the past, and puts it into an easy-to-use product that's no mess and lots of fun!
New to me are the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets from Thermoweb. Velvety and soft, these sheets make the flock powders of the past seem like one big mess. I used the White Latte for my card today.
- Available in a variety of colors
- Transfer using Deco Foil™ Transfer Gel or Foam Adhesive Sheets
- Can be die cut or used with embossing folders (as I did here)
- No mess, unlike traditional flock powders
TIP: I pounced the ink on, rather than rubbing or blending, as the flock is delicate, and will come off if rubbed continually. Since I couldn't tape down my Flocked Transfer Sheet (the flock will come off on the tape), I used my MISTI to hold it in place in the corner while I inked it up!
Next I used the Lovely Word Die, and cut the letters in the White Latte Flock, and the shadow in the same textured cardstock (My Paper Studio) as the card base. I added pearl embellishments and paper Apple Blossom Flowers, adhering everything with hot glue. The sentiment was added using Glue Dots.
Today is a great day for inspiration and beautiful projects from ThermOWeb, My Sweet Petunia, and of course, Picket Fence Studios!
