Stenciling in Blues

Today is the day my new grandson makes his debut! I can hardly wait to see him, let alone HOLD him. He will bring so much joy to his big sister and brother!

I am sure it will be a busy day, waiting for news, and all that comes with a new baby announcement. So I am sharing cards that can be made quickly, but also are as elegant as if you spent much longer creating them.

I am using a stencil and sentiment from Picket Fence Studios. I must love stenciling in blues lately, because I made another similar card a couple of months back, which you can see HERE.

Today I am using the BROCADE stencil, with a sentiment from FANCY SENTIMENTS.

For this card I used Speckled Egg and Broken China Distress Oxide inks. I embossed the sentiment on vellum and added some blue metallic thread (Krenik) for sparkle. A trio of Bliss Blue pearls (Kaiser) in the corner finish the card. I did have a little extra from my front panel, and used it on the inside of the card as well.

Hope you have a great day, and I hope to post some photos of my little grandbaby soon!
