Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. This week's hostess is the wonderfully creative Amy! I took some liberties this week, Amy! Don't send the sketch police after me!
I have been wanting to use a new to me stencil from Visible Image Stamps (Grate-ful) for awhile, and today's sketch worked for that! I inked up my stencil using Bundled Sage DOX, and then decided to make today's card a square. I love square cards, and was sad the day the USPS changed their square postage rate (yes, it's been a long time ago now!) to be more expensive just due to the shape.
I die cut a frame from black cardstock, and then decided to move the sketch a little so the frame and sentiment would be centered. I stamped my sentiment (Thank You) on the stencil panel, and then attached the frame with foam tape.
The script flower from Imperfection is Beauty was stamped in black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, then popped up with foam tape. A few black gems give extra sparkle.
I hope you will join our sketch challenge this week, and add your creations to our gallery! This challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, May 10. Be sure to stop at the Freshly Made Sketches blog, and click on the names of my teammates to see the creative cards they have designed this week!
