Freshly Made Sketches #605

Good morning everyone! It's Wednesday and I am again in a sunflower mood - but this time in navy and gray. The sun is shining and the temperature is beautiful outside, but I am longing for rain today - or maybe I am just in a melancholy mood!

My craft room has to be taken all apart and out and down because of a huge rainstorm we had - and there is water throughout the carpet. I am working fast, but it's going to take a couple of days and through the weekend. I have been in that little jam-packed room for thirty years! Nothing has been ruined that I know of yet! So yay! BUT I have way too much stuff (especially 12x12) and too many things I don't use and nowhere to take them (believe me, I have checked in this town). Anyone up for mystery boxes - postage only?

I hope you will join our sketch challenge this week, and add your creations to our gallery.
This week's challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, October 2. Don't miss all of the amazing creations from the DT on the FMS blog to inspire you!

  1. So sorry for your craft room disaster!! Maybe it will all go back together fresh, clean and organized and ended up being a good thing??!! And I love your card. It is so eye-catching to take that big sunflower in a different color direction!

  2. Oh no! A craft room disaster is never good! Hopefully you're able to get it all fixed up! I love the sunflower on your card! It's so big and bold and one of my favourite flowers! Definitely love the new take on the colour! Blue and grey is such a great combo!
