Well fall is official, and that means while the temps may still be warm here, the days are getting shorter. I love the long sunny days of summer, and will miss those! But - you can still find sunshine in sunny sunflowers!
Today I am sharing a simple to make, easy to mail, fall scripture card using products from Stamp Simply.
I blended two DOX inks on watercolor paper, spritzed with water and stamped my sunflower on top. I got out my paper piercer and pierced the corners (that used to be such a thing; now everyone uses dies!), then distressed the edges. I added a piece of burlap for texture and added interest. And of course I added some bling - Split Pea Kasiercraft Rhinestones. Very simple!
- Harvest
- Sunflower Season
- Kaisercraft Rhinestones - Split Pea
- VersaFine Clair Nocturne
- Distress Watercolor Cardstock
Other Supplies:
- white, kraft cardstock
- Distress Oxides: Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade
- burlap
- paper piercer
- liquid glue
- foam tape
Fabulous look! I love all the little details - the edges, the pierced corners, the hint of burlap - all so lovely!
